Flanker Code of Ethics

The prosperity and development of a company are based above all on the confidence that it grants to its social environment and, specifically, on the confidence that it inspires in its employees, clients, collaborators and suppliers.

The Code of Ethics ratifies the collective commitment to establish and promote said trust. Its objective is to allow each person to incorporate into their daily practices the fundamental values ​​that we all defend: promoting the protection of employees, safeguarding assets, protecting customers, promoting responsible citizenship, and enhancing products and services.

In this way, respecting these values ​​will contribute to the prestige of Flanker and its results.

How is this Code of Ethics used?

The Code is a compendium of values ​​and provisions that, despite not being able to cover everything, should help, thanks to the judgment and sense of responsibility of each one, to seek and adopt the appropriate decision in a given situation, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force and also complying with the commitments adopted by Flanker in the social, business and environmental fields.

  1. EMPLOYEE PROTECTION

Respect for people is a fundamental value at FLANKER : each one of us must contribute to the cohesion of the company by establishing professional relationships, both hierarchical and functional, frank, loyal and mutually respectful.

With this perspective, we commit ourselves to:

  • not discriminate for any reason in labor relations and specifically: not discriminate under any circumstances based on sex, age, race, or social, cultural or national origin, or union activities, sexual preferences, or any other type of of disability, political opinions or religious beliefs.
  • hire and promote staff based on their corresponding qualities and treat them with dignity, without favoritism and respecting their privacy.
  • adopt the necessary measures to ensure that working conditions protect the health and safety of employees.

PROTECTION OF ASSETS

Maintaining the integrity of the assets belonging to Flanker guarantees their prosperity, thus benefiting the entire staff.

Group personnel have the duty to help protect and preserve assets against any degradation, theft or embezzlement and, specifically, not to use them for personal purposes.

RESPECT FOR CONFIDENTIALITY

One of the means used to protect intangible assets is to implement and respect confidentiality. Thus, in some circumstances, Flanker personnel may be aware of certain information that must be kept confidential, to the extent that its disclosure or its disclosure could be detrimental to the interests of Flanker.

Specifically, this data can be about people, products, studies, technical projects, industrial data, business and financial plans, social data, as well as items that can be classified as intellectual property or knowledge.

Each person must ensure that such information is not disseminated outside the company and is not even communicated to persons employed by the company who are not authorized to know it.

PROTECTION AND VALUATION OF THE COMPANY IMAGE

The quality of Flanker’s institutional image, as well as the reputation of its products and services are crucial to guarantee the continuity of the Company. The employee, aware of his importance, must contribute to the prestige of the Group and must refrain from making any criticism, initiating or supporting a boycott action, negative communication, institutional campaign or any action unfavorable to the Company, regardless of its nature or medium. used, even, within the framework of the use of the media and public social networks.

No unauthorized person may make a communication abroad. Any communication must be previously validated by the Directorate, which must inform the competent authorities.

  1. CUSTOMER PROTECTION

Customer confidence in Flanker’s activities and products is one of the company’s primary goals.

Client trust is earned and maintained thanks to strict respect for their rights, preservation of their interests and a constant concern to acquire only those commitments that can be fulfilled and respected.

In this perspective, Flanker and its employees commit to:

■ respect all the rules, processes and technical and environmental requirements regarding the safety and quality of the Company’s products;

■ exclusively provide clients and consumers with verified and truthful information on the offer and characteristics of the products and services delivered;

■ Respect the laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal data of acquired or potential customers.

  1. PROTECTION OF THE CITIZENSHIP IN A GLOBAL CONTEXT

POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES

Employees who engage in political or religious activities must do so outside of the Company, in a strictly private capacity and outside of their working hours. In addition, they must refrain from all proselytism and will not benefit in any case from their membership in Flanker.

SUPPLIER RELATIONS

All provision of services must be the subject of an offer between competitors and of an order or a contract and must be subject to frequent control of its suitability and its conformity, based on the evolution of the competition, and in accordance with the rules of the company’s purchasing policy. The selection of a supplier must be based on its results, appreciated based on objective criteria. In the same way, this selection will also take into account the ethical criteria that the suppliers themselves apply in their operations; Specifically, the company will verify that its suppliers respect fundamental social rights and the occupational risk prevention policy.

CORRUPTION AND HIDDEN COMMISSIONS

Flanker personnel must not, directly or indirectly, demand or accept any bribe or any type of benefit (gifts, invitations…). The Company must not propose or perform acts of bribery, or offer any other type of benefits, or accept the request for them. Flanker will not pay any commission as part of the payment for obtaining a contract, nor will it use other practices (subcontracting, order forms, etc.) to make payments to officials, employees, family members or partners of its contractor.

REMUNERATED JOB

Specifically, no paid work may be accepted in favor of an external entity, when it is contrary to its interest. To avoid all kinds of misunderstandings, any member of the Flanker staff who wishes to have a professional activity outside the company and who performs his job full time, must previously request the corresponding approval from his hierarchical manager.

In case of doubts regarding the application of the principles defined in this Code of Ethics, the employee may request clarifications from their hierarchical manager; If these details are incomplete or unsatisfactory, he can also forward your request to the Management.

In addition, if an employee had -in good faith- any doubt or suspicion about practices that could significantly affect the company’s activity or seriously imply their responsibility in said areas, they may resort to any of their hierarchical manager or the Management.

Implementation of a shared ethic

The Code of Ethics is addressed to all employees, managers and members of the Flanker Management.

This code may evolve over time and be supplemented by tailored awareness sessions.
